Casi nada funciona Writing (Chapter) 
The first part of a collection of graphic and written collaborations by workshop participants and residents, constituting an unpublished body of work by members of the national and Ibero-American artistic community. Together, they examine topics related to curatorship and mediation within artistic, museographic, and curatorial practices. See more↗

The closing chapter Casi nada funciona. Administración de ninguna exhibición analyzes the exhibition This exhibition has been canceled by Marlie Mul as an administrative operation rather than a conceptual gesture inherited from the tradition of the “empty gallery.” Against canonical precedents such as Yves Klein or Laurie Parsons, this short essay shifts attention from the rhetoric of immateriality or symbolic negation toward cancellation as an operative act embedded in institutional management. The non-exhibition functions not as inaction, but as an effective decision that exposes the museum’s financial, political, and programmatic limitations. The empty gallery thus redirects its critique toward the very apparatuses that sustain it, opening a reflection on the exhaustion of continuous exhibition regimes and the contemporary administration of cultural space.
